Right now im writing this post with my right hand with a curve 8900 ... And my curiosity push me to write this post !
I would like to know if with an average hand size its possible to reach all the letters of the bold 99xx keyboard .??

Yes, I type on my 9930 with one hand all of the time.

same it is one of the reasons i actually pick a bb... i can type with one hand without looking cus there a keyboard => means i typically wont miss the buttons im pressing

I could if I absolutely had to, but I must have short thumbs as the characters on the extremes are difficult to press with any precision.

I always use both hands anyway, it's how the keypad was designed to be used.

If you are able to write 9000 then you will at 9900 more comfortable.

My experience exactly. Reaching the leftmost letters is difficult for me. Could I do it... probably. But why would I want to?

It's easily doable even with an OtterBox Defender on.

Not a problem for me at all ! I quite often have my dog on his leash and have to respond to my daughter while we are out. So one handed texting on the 9900 is easy.
