yo you're roaming, Wind Away is Roaming, so ur phone is running on Roger's network. maybe if your phone said 3G bands 1,4,8 then yes but i highly doubt in ur about screen is say that.
Btw if you're a post paid customer, enjoy that phat bill
WTH, this makes NO sense?!? How can you WIND away on their 3G Rogers bands? It should only limit you to 2G and force SOS on 3G. Are you sure you aren't roaming and getting charged like .10c/kb or anything here?

Long time lurker of Crackberry. Signed up just to say that this thread title is misleading. This "Bell 9900" will not work on Wind. As you showed in your picture you will only connect to "Wind Away" (Roaming). You are connected to Bell's network thats how you can get "H+".
I was a little late to post but like SueyChoy said "enjoy (your) phat bill".

I'm not exactly sure, but since you said you're a prepaid. if you had any money in your account, that would be taken for the data usage $4/mb.
Btw anyone waiting for an AWS version 9900, WIND will be releasing them on October, dont ask me why its going to take so long, its what i've been told.

Told by who? Is it because they need T-Mobile to get their stock first on August 31st before they can even think of releasing it here in Canada?
I walked into my local Wind today, while they didn't have a definitive answer or confirmation they just told me it was being tested and expected the goose to land in 2 - 3 weeks. geessh! An official announcement would be nice!
I'm not sure if this firmware is safe to use or if will enable the AWS band or not. Also, I'm still unclear as to whether band support is a hardware or software limitation...but I was told it was software.
