I am in the market for a new BlackBerry as my contract expires shortly.

I am trying to decide between a 9900 and a 9790. The only thing making me lean toward the 9790 is I have small / average size hands and the 9790 is easily manageable with one hand, something very important to me. I have held the 9790 but not the 9900.

Can the 9900 be used comfortably with one hand? I realize this question is obviously very subjective but I would really love some input on this as it will be some time before I can make time to check out a 9900 myself.

I am drawn to the 9900 because I will have it awhile and it seems like it's definitely a step up from the 9790 but I just want to see if it's possible to comfortably use it with one hand.

    Thanks in advance!

I use mine with one hand all the time, 9900 is the best phone I've had so far and the OS7.1 update really improves battery life over the OS7 version I was running which was AT&T's most recent release.

I have small hands too but I find 9790 to be too small specially to touch the screen. I have 9900 and my daughter has 9790. I would take 9900 anytime but my daughter find 9900 too big for her taste.

The bold 99xx phones have amazing balance to them. The thing that makes them so easy to "one hand" is the thinness of the devices.
