    hi everyone I have purchased a month ago the bold 9900 from orange shop and since yeasterday have following problem :the phone has lost signal and it shows SOS. When I go to MANAGE CONNECTIONS and turn off MOBILE NETWORK and swich it on again the handset shows SEARCHING FOR NETWORK then the signal bar is full but after 2 or 3 seconds it shows SOS again. I have tried with other SIM Card but it did not help. Please help Sebastian

    A battery pull always worked for me whenever I got the SOS. It's what my carrier at the time advised.

    Usually you get that alert if there is no service on the device, like if you didn't have a SIM card in it. When you say you have tried it with other SIM Cards, did the other SIM card have service on it? Is your device unlocked? Are you trying to use a different carrier's SIM card in your locked Orange device?

    I would think that you need a new SIM card from your carrier. Have you done this?
