I am facing with the same problem with my 9900.. its also updated to OS 7.1 by my carrier.. I read that it could be the weather channel app so i have removed it.. hope it doesn't happen again..

One other reason that i suspect is heat. i work at construction site and during this peak summer season, the temperature is just shy of 50C. and my phone never restarts when i am at home or in my office..

Blackberry Bold seems to be a defective combination of hardware and software. After spending over 30K this phone really sucks. It reboots on its own in the middle of browsing, texting and chats. I am very dissatisfied and will never use a blackberry again as the service center and the company refuses to take onus and own up their fault. The problem is not just with my phone; my friends are facing the same problem.
