sent out for repair, and repair centre swapped it with a new unit (new imei and pin)

a week an a half later and what happens to my blackberry when i wake up this morning to pull it from the charger?

honestly this is their flagship phone and all it has been giving me is problems, when my new replacement comes im definately selling it.

what makes it worse for RIM is i'm actually in retail wireless sales, and i can promise that i will not let any of my customers buy this product, ****ing garbage....

finally my 9930 was bricked as well few days ago ...sad..

Yeah, I've seen repots of bricked 9930 and 9900 on all carriers now. Still waiting for a fix from RIM. I'd really like to upgrade.

I have now had two Blackberry Bold 9930s cease to operate. The units cease to function as the red dot power light turns on and then cycles off. The units begin cycling after recharging and never work again. The carrier is Verizon. The software is Version 7.0 Bundle 1739. Regrettably Verizon decided to use the US Post Office first class mail to mail a replacement device. There is a reason the US Post Office is going bankrupt .... I am still waiting for a device which was ordered 5 days ago.

my verizon 9930 bricked was fixed with the OS 7.1 from sprint.

you gotta give a try, I load it from DM and when it load i tried to press and hold the mute button, and It just load in seconds and installing the OS.

so I would like to conclude that is the software issue, and now it fixed

Upgrade to OS7.1, it will make many of those treads irrelevant.

My 9930 from Verizon bricked today. It happened just after I had installed Photo Editor Ultimate which is one of the "gift" apps. Got the white death screen telling me to reset. It would always reboot 2/3rds of way and end up with white screen again. Reinstalled OS and now it's ok again. Anybody else brick right after installing Photo Editor Ultimate?

my AT&T 9900 bricked just this morning...sigh..

tried loading it on apploader and nothing happens. The usb connect/disconnect sound turns on and off, nothing else

My RIM bold 9930 phone won't turn on.

Sent to Verizon, they sending me refurbished one.
