    I had bought 9930 Blackberry from Ebay. Although the set was from Verizon, the same was unlocked for any network usage
    Last week I conducted a memory swipe and after that the handset stopped working. The manual networking stopped showing and it stopped accepting SIM CARD�s from any service provider. I assumed there is some software issue and downloaded software from Blackberry website. Again the same issue existed. Currently the handset does not accept any SIM CARD and the networking shows only AUTOAMTIC. Kindly advice if you could help

    I would suggest reinstalling the software- find the latest verizon version and reinstall it via the app loader- check out youtube for videos of how to do this. Have you tried it with a verizon sim? If it works it may be the case the phone is still locked. But you can get an unlock code online for around 1 dollar for the 9900
