    Seems like recently i had to do a battery pull in order to charge my 9900. After some digging around it was revealed that blink was maybe be the source of this problem. Anyone here has faced a similar problem?

    Yep, it certainly is since I had the exact same problem.
    Removed Blink and it's all working now!
    'Advance OS and LED' is an alternative to consider.
