I honestly don't see how much faster you can get on the 6.0 browser on 3G/wifi...it is literally like flipping a page in most cases...

Move along bro...5.0 was slower, but even that was manageable.

The Dakota is a GSM device scheduled for release on AT&T later this year. The CDMA version will be going to Verizon.

no dedicated release date yet but sprint got the last bold before verizon. this may be the same situation since vz seems to only care about droids now.

Sorry, not that easy. Have to keep the cat in the bag. Seriously though, initial reports from select users are very positive. That's really all I can say.

Odds are that they both got it at the same time and vzw's internal approval process is slower than the one on sprint.

Well, in some reports, it has been said that the "CDMA Roadmap" is actually for a regional carrier, and that they usually get devices after the Major Carriers. So we can only hope that this is the case with this phone.

Mind you, I'm not trying to get anyone's hopes up. I'm just stating there is actual Hope.

One could say Sprint only cares about Droids now, since they have the 'best' ones out right now. Or ATT is getting a lot so that is subject to change the thing is, Sprint has always been known for NOT getting high end phones, or not getting them first.
Same with Tmobile, so I don't see why people would be surprised now. Yeah tmobile got the 8900, but that was because they didn't get the 9000 and ATT ended up getting the 8900 too
