Unlocked Blackberry can work with any GSM SIM card, including At&t.

The answer to your question of "why it is not out yet?" is most likely related to some limited carrier exclusivity. T-Mobile got the 9900 first in the US, AT&T got the 9810. After whatever existing exclusivity period ends, AT&T will likely release the 9900. They have been touting it on Facebook for awhile. I would hope that it has passed field testing by now.

I wonder why certain bb's show 4G and some say H+ ........mine says just H on my Android. This is all on T-Mobile for me.
