[CrackBerry Question]

I have just had my phone unlocked and signed up with Virgin Mobile. (It was originally with Rogers)

I can call and text no problem.

When I tried to set the phone up as a hot spot I was not able to and neither was the phone shop.

Is this possible to do this after unlocking it and using a different carrier?

If so, does anyone know the steps? I went on you tube but did not find an answer.

Also, is the software on my phone up to date?

Hotspot issues on BBOS are pretty common....

Does your BIS Plan with Virgin Mobile include Hotspot - for it to work, you might need to resend service books.
Does the phone simple not allow you to create a hotspot? Or are there issues using it?


As for the OS..... I'd use BlackBerry Manager to handle your official update so you won't have any issues with Virgin.
