    I want this NOW!!!!

I was seriously contemplating getting rid of my 9700 after the OS6 upgrades were steadily getting worse in the memory department, and getting the android powered Sidekick, but damn, this looks amazing.

pre-order for me the second it goes up.

Go for the 9900. 9930 will restrict to just one country and you'd have to roam from your home carrier whenever you travel. But with the 9900 all you'd have to do is just pop in a SIM wherever in the world you are (if you don't want to pay your original carrier's ridiculous roaming fees) and you're good to go

I prefer BOLD1 with 2.6" display & comfortable QWERTY over later models including TORCH,

I'm happy to see BOLD with 2.8" display with more spacious QWERTY!

Absolutely every BB lover's choice is 9900 (But why no secondary cam? GOK)

Hummm, I can turn my tour sideways and take a picture no accelerometer needed.

Seriously who is going to turn the bold sideways to browse or do anything?

some people may want to use the on screen shutter button rather than the hardware button. then it would make sense that you would want the screen to change orientation if you have it sideways.

There will be apps and other programs by RIM that will use the feature.
So, look for features like that.

Just got back from the BB Conference in Orlando ( I live 2 hours away )

Both phones were incredible, Saw Kevin and Bla1ze and Adam there and met alot of incredible RIM people. Had to come back a day early due to work constraints but had a blast and hope when these phone launch that VZW gets one fast because it WILL be my next BB.

If I were still on Active Duty, yes I'd get it the moment it hits but I'm in school full time so I'll have to wait for my upgrade to knock the price down a bit.

I'll probably use the upgrade on my broadband card for one of the Android tablets but as far as phone goes I'm sticking with blackberry as long as I have a viable option.

Yes it will, most of Asia is on the 2100MHz frequency which is include in the Bold 9900 Tri-Band HSPA+ (850/1900/2100) frequency. So you wouldn't have a problem roaming and even if you choose to unlock it, you wouldn't have any problems finding a compatible local SIM either.

Doesn't look much different then the 9780 and I'm not a fan of touch screens so I'll just stick with what I've got now until I'm ready and an upgrade in 2013.

Really? did you see the preview video from Crackberry? it shows it side by side with the 9780.. it's quite a bit better, thinner, bigger better keyboard, bigger screen. this is what the Bold should be. The 9700/9780 were pretty much upgrades to the 8900 curve, not the original 9000 bold.

I'm probably going to buy a 9900 the moment I can. I currently have a 9700, and its getting very constrained under OS 6.0. The 9780 wasn't enough of an upgrade to justify buying one, especially since it would have the side-effect of removing any discount I'd otherwise get when the 9900 became available.
