    do you know if the os 7.1 will be avalable soon for OTA update?

    or an update via the Deskop manager for Mac?

    all the updates that are now are for windows computers...

    They're only if you're using a stock carrier OS too. I'd recommend you go to a friends or anything that's willing to let you use their Windows machine and do it that way.
