    My daughter downloaded an update to my BB 9900 and now it won't connect to the internet unless its connected to my home broadband. The BB messenger update was vs 6.1.0.70 is it the wrong up date? How do I resolve this or get rid of this update?

    i have had no issues with this update,have you rebooted after the installation of bbm or maybe tried a battery pull ?

    pull out your battery, if needed wait for a slight 15+ ish seconds then pop the battery back.

    Daughter says the option to reboot came up after the upgrade and she clicked for it to reboot. Should I reboot it again?

    you can try it again and see if it fixes it, you wouldn't hurt it by trying it.

    Have rebooted by removing battery, daughter says the internet is working its all the BB services that it won't connect to such as BB messenger and Appworld. She can send texts and make phonecalls.

    Are you on a pay as you go plan maybe and the blackberry services need a top up to continue?

    No I am with Tesco on a contract.

    The message that comes up says problem with network connection.

    I also had the same problem with my BB 9780... what actually happened with it?

    Lol what happened with what? I am still hopefully waiting for some advice on resolving my problem.

    The message that comes up if I try to access blackberry services is:

    Blacberry App world is having trouble connecting to the Blackberry App World server. Verify your network connections and try again.

    It will connect on wifi, calls and texts seem to be working ok.

    Any suggestions gratefully received.

    If I can't resolve this what is my best next step, phone service provider Tesco mobile or return phone to Tesco store, have only had it a couple of weeks.
