As the title says, which one would you consider the best 7.0/7.1 release (official or leaked) for 9900 battery life?

There are some releases that are better than others for battery discharge.

I have heard good things about .440 on some posts here
    That was mid-august
Mid-november people are talking .540 improves battery life.

Any other OS "candidates" there for good battery performance?

I have yet to try .267 but I've heard only good things about it for both the 9900 and the 9930.

I am on stock .167 for the 9930 but might install the leaded OS because people rave about the insane battery life.

Well so far I tried 205 and 267, not an insane battery life difference but I do think 267 make a difference with battery saving option added to it.

What I am going to say now may seem a bit against all the other opinions about the battery life in the threads regarding each of the software versions.
I have tried many of the 7.0 releases, and now I am on 7.1.0.267

For me the best battery life was on 7.0.0.503 !

So, it has a graphing feature? If I use this, can I get rid of MeterBerry all together or I still need MeterBerry? Also, how does the Device Analyser effect the performance of the phone when it is running?

Yes it does, but I've never needed to use it so I don't know how it affects performance.

Nobody 'needs' MeterBerry. I only use it for a quick glance at my memory management, and for the battery level notification icon.

.540 was the best for me. But really anything other than the stock OS was pretty much the same

I have tested out a few OS builds & am currently running on 7.1.0.267

I havnt seen much improvment on battery life in any build... its all about the same. I use my phone same amount about every day and some would say im a heavy user between apps and listening to music and web surfing and bbms

Battery life has been just about the same on every build

I still have to charge my battery mid day I still carry a spare when im out and about

The only plus w os 7.1.0.267 is that there is a special battery saving option built in

For everything else not involving battery life 7.1.0.267 is so far the best OS build out

    In my opinion

    It was on light usage.

    Idle DPH is 2~%.
    Light usage DPH is 3-4~%.

The effect of the BB analyzer on performance is almost zero. (0.15% CPU time)

We know... you told us several times in the multiple threads you started today.
Now you've dug up a 6 month old thread and told us again.
    Nobody cares.

7.1.0.649 is the Best OS for battery life! Which is the latest leaked OS. I was using .580 before and that was pretty much the same, but before that OS the battery life was not all the great.. "Battery Saver Mode" and "Application Resource Monitor" really do help conserve the battery. And that came in the .580 update.

So I believe the latest OS available for you is the best way to get the MOST out of your battery.
