Canadian carriers plan to begin selling Research In Motion Ltd.’s new lineup of BlackBerry devices as early as next week.

BCE Inc.’s Bell Canada plans to begin offering RIM’s new BlackBerry Bold 9900 and BlackBerry Torch 9810 on August 10 or 11, a source told the Financial Post. Bell also plans to launch the touchscreen BlackBerry Torch (Touch) 9860 in the coming weeks, however, its launch date has so far not been pinned down.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Rogers Communications Inc. revealed its pricing plans for the trio of new BlackBerrys, however the Toronto-based cable giant has not said when customers will be able to get their hands on RIM’s latest smartphones.

In a post on the company’s RedBoard social media site, Rogers officials said the Bold 9900 will be offered for $249.99 on a three year contract, while the two Torch devices (the 9810 and 9860) will cost $199.99 on a three year contract.

Telus Corp. has also announced it will carry the Bold 9900 and the two new BlackBerry Torch models, however the company has not provided further pricing or launch details.

Because all three of Canada’s largest mobile carriers will be offering each of the three new BlackBerry models which were announced on Wednesday, it seems likely that prices will be comparable and that all of the carriers will attempt to launch the devices around the same time.

I thought Rogers would have priority, but it doesn't seem like it.

If Rogers will be set for the 15th and Bell the 10th or 11th.... then... hmmm...

What's to say Roger's still doesn't come before the 10th or 11th though? Although that's wishful thinking, maybe, it's still possible assuming the date mentioned in this thread for Bell is indeed correct.

Usually items have came out for Rogers first in the past, but maybe all three major Canadian carriers will share an equal date?
