[Ed9900]

Hi Guys,

My 9900 was giving strange errors and stuff, so I decided to reinstall the OS on the phone. However, DM didn't detect my phone so I used BBSAK. I wiped the OS which went smooth. After that, I tried to install the OS but it didn't work. BBSAK does detect my phone on the main screen, but doesn't when the wizard application loader starts and I have to select the communicationport. Any thoughts about how to solve this problem? DM still doesn't recognize my phone.

Here are some issues that may help:
- I don't have an SIM in the 9900 because i'm using an Iphone (I may want to sell the 9900).
- I already have deleted the vendor.xml files (also runned VENDELTE+)
- I have downloaded OS 7.1 from the official Blackberry site and installed on my laptop
- I have tried 3 different USB inputs on my laptop but all faced the same issue

Welcome to CrackBerry, unfortunately to reload the OS you need an active SIM, with BIS on it.

I've putted an active SIM in my 9900, which unfortunately doesn't have BIS on it because I'm using an Iphone now. I still can't install OS on it now. Isn't there any way to install an OS on my 9900 without BIS on my SIM?
