I would like to purchase an unlocked BB9900 to use on the Ancel (cellphone arm of Antel in Uruguay), but don't know which of the versions would be the correct one. I read where some that were intended for particular carriers are not appropriate for international use while others are. Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

Ancel uses UMTS frequencies 850/2100Mhz, so you'll need a 9900 with 3G bands 1, 2, 5 & 6 (AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus etc.)
