    BBOS is BIS-dependent, so trying to free it from a BB plan is a non-starter.

    'Useless BB plan' - lol. Sigh. One of the things I miss most on my Z10 is not having BIS and being forced to use my email provider's Calendar and EverNote for note taking and tasks instead of BlackBerry's in-built tools from BBOS which are backed up securely to BlackBerry Protect. This is why the Z10 will never replace my 9900 as my main phone.

    Really miss BIS on my Q10, that's really the main thing I miss from my 9900 and other legacy devices.
