- get comfy. By the time this thing comes out in Q3, it will already look antiquated, like everything else rim releases.01-31-11 09:06 AMLike 0
- This will still be a good enough device. It doesnt matter if it looks antiquated, its what it can do with the best keyboard that RIM ever invented. It will be enough to hold me over until QNX hits my phone.01-31-11 11:09 AMLike 0

I do have to say though, that it does not look very wide in the leaked pics. Maybe that is because it is longer than the 9000?01-31-11 07:13 PMLike 0 - sleepngbearRetired Moderator
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com01-31-11 08:21 PMLike 0 - I got my 9700 handy.
I hope this drops with HSPA+ to make the mobile hotspot even better
if it doesn't then this phone will feel outdated ya know01-31-11 11:10 PMLike 0 -
I would love to see RIM get it together and design some competitive devices. I was an avid BB user until about nine months ago. I would carry another BB if it were able to do everything I want it to do. Fast web surfing, fast app installs and updates, etc. It's by far the best pure messaging device on the market and if that's all I needed, I would still have my 9650 by my side. The perfect device for me would be a Bold 9650 form plus touch screen, modern OS and of course, all the memory and processing power they could jam in. It would kill their legendary battery life though, so it won't happen.02-01-11 10:48 AMLike 0 - So you get a phone to keep with the Jones'? Gotcha...
I get a phone that suites me...and this will fit it perfectly, Q3 or sooner...don't matter, will eventually have it even if these Androids do all they do...and even if the iP5 drops...still will get this.

It just so happens that the latest technology is what I need to keep up. As newer tech comes out, it continues to help me be more productive, informed and efficient. If you take that as keeping up with the Jones', so be it.02-01-11 05:50 PMLike 0

02-01-11 06:15 PMLike 0 - What part of the new BB specs will be too slow for your active life? The 1.2ghz processor? The NFC capabilities? The memory of 4 or8 gb expandable to 36 or 40? The higher res screen only matched by the current iphone 4 for ppi? The 768 mb of ram? The 5mp camera? Which phone are you using right now that is slowing you down so much as these specs match or surpass all current offerings? Oh, the incredible. You must be very busy. Not quite as busy as you could be with the Dakota but still pretty darn active.
I don't post here often, but that right there is too damned funny.02-01-11 07:17 PMLike 0 - What part of the new BB specs will be too slow for your active life? The 1.2ghz processor? - This guy is hilarious. I bet he wants LTE & all that other crap to feed his porn habbit
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com02-01-11 08:53 PMLike 0 - Wow, the complains of the lack of LTE
Honestly, I don't want LTE due to the battery drained in like an hour
Along with front facing camera
GET OVER IT
It is super old technology that people barely realized exsist.
And yes I Can Wait for this phone.
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com02-01-11 09:15 PMLike 0 - LTE is rumored to be on the monaco, it will arrive closer than you think. if you read the earlier threads, BB have been working on LTE for two years and demoed one at WES 2009.02-02-11 03:14 AMLike 0

Anyone assuming that monaco will support it are just setting themselves up to be annoyed and/or disappointed.02-02-11 06:18 AMLike 0 - all i said was that LTE will arrive on the monaco sooner than most people have been saying.
Check out the news and rumors forums, theres plenty there about VZW LTE and BB
I am happy with the Dakota specs without LTE02-02-11 07:34 AMLike 0 - No Wimax?! WTF?! (Sarcasm Alert)
This phone is the Bee's Knees. It's truly what I've been looking for. I'm very excited that it is on the way. I've waited this long, a few more months will not hurt me in any way.
However, the fact that people are bashing a phone they've never seen, is troubling. How can it be outdated? The Specs are truly impressive, and it's a World Phone. To date, only 1 Google phone can say that. (2 things here: 1) World Phones have CDMA & GSM (Google phone users correct me if needed) 2) I've heard no Good reviews about the Google Phone Pro. So there is really no comparison. (Again, Correct me as needed Google Phone users.))
