I do have to say though, that it does not look very wide in the leaked pics. Maybe that is because it is longer than the 9000?

Same length and width as the 9000 and abour 1/8" thinner, if the rumored specs are accurate. Should be sweeet.

I would love to see RIM get it together and design some competitive devices. I was an avid BB user until about nine months ago. I would carry another BB if it were able to do everything I want it to do. Fast web surfing, fast app installs and updates, etc. It's by far the best pure messaging device on the market and if that's all I needed, I would still have my 9650 by my side. The perfect device for me would be a Bold 9650 form plus touch screen, modern OS and of course, all the memory and processing power they could jam in. It would kill their legendary battery life though, so it won't happen.

I get a phone that suites me...and this will fit it perfectly, Q3 or sooner...don't matter, will eventually have it even if these Androids do all they do...and even if the iP5 drops...still will get this.

No, I get a phone that can keep up with me. Don't care about the Jones' and what is the latest. It just so happens that the latest technology is what I need to keep up. As newer tech comes out, it continues to help me be more productive, informed and efficient. If you take that as keeping up with the Jones', so be it.

What part of the new BB specs will be too slow for your active life? The 1.2ghz processor? The NFC capabilities? The memory of 4 or8 gb expandable to 36 or 40? The higher res screen only matched by the current iphone 4 for ppi? The 768 mb of ram? The 5mp camera? Which phone are you using right now that is slowing you down so much as these specs match or surpass all current offerings? Oh, the incredible. You must be very busy. Not quite as busy as you could be with the Dakota but still pretty darn active.

I didn't see LTE listed in any of those specs? Oh, that's right, this device wont have LTE. Good job RIM

None of the recent rumours made any mention of LTE, the odds are that it is another device that is entirely separate from these ones and a couple of rumours have simply merged into one as has happened plenty of times in the past.

Anyone assuming that monaco will support it are just setting themselves up to be annoyed and/or disappointed.

This phone is the Bee's Knees. It's truly what I've been looking for. I'm very excited that it is on the way. I've waited this long, a few more months will not hurt me in any way.

However, the fact that people are bashing a phone they've never seen, is troubling. How can it be outdated? The Specs are truly impressive, and it's a World Phone. To date, only 1 Google phone can say that. (2 things here: 1) World Phones have CDMA & GSM (Google phone users correct me if needed) 2) I've heard no Good reviews about the Google Phone Pro. So there is really no comparison. (Again, Correct me as needed Google Phone users.))

All I am waiting for is a AT&T device with hotspot. Having an ipod touch and Dakota together would be a dream come true for me. That way I have all my iphone apps (Skype) available all the time.
