Someone wants to sell me a Bold 9900 for T-Mobile for a cheap price. This is the catch and this is where I need everyones input. I'm assuming previous owner tried to unlock but used up all 10 MEP attempts. Phone powers on or what not but doesnt read any type of sim including the T-Mobile one. I know that once it locked it cant be used with any other service provider but why isnt it working with T-Mobile. It tell me invaild Sim all the time. Please help me Crackberry
well he needs to try to downgrade the os and see if it works..also some sim cards are said to not be compatible with the bold 9900 if the sim card is and older version

Even tho the person tried to unlock it for another carrier and failed cant it still be used with the orginial carrier the phone was made for

if he used up all the mep tries then the phone is hard locked but it will only work for t-mobile.. try downgrading os or finding a sim compatible with the phone if non of that works i guess its hardware issues
