Does it come with 8GB's on internal storage? If so is a SD card also included? If not how would I be able to access the drive on the desktop? Internal RAM never loads on the desktop, only the SD memory.

The SD Card is usually not included. (not on sprint at any rate)
You will have 2 drives when plugging in your BB.
One is called BLACKBERRY (D: ) < Media Card
And the other is called BLACKBERRY1 (E: ) < Internal Storage.

I have bought 2 BB Sprint phones and the SD card was included on both. Also when I plug in my BB I only see the SD card and not internal RAM. On Windows does it show internal RAM? I am using a Mac.

My 9900 has 8GB internal plus I added an 8GB MicroSD so when I connect it and enable USB I see 2 8GB drive mappings.

Do you have the 9930? According to your info at the top of your post you're using a Curve 3G, which has no internal memory, which is why you would only see the SD card when you plug your BB into the computer.

On the 9930 there is the internal media storage, and then there is the SD card storage. The 9930 doesn't come with a media card (at least it didn't on VZW).

    8330m: 1gb
    9650: 2gb
    9930: Internal memory

Yes I have the 3G but may have the Bold in March. I can store apps and files in the internal RAM. So why would I not be able to view it on the desktop?

I have an O2 9900 which came with a 4GB SD card however my 2nd 9900 from vodafone didn't come with one so its carrier specific it seems.

*Or depends on which package you have with the carrier ?

Interesting that some got SD cards and some didn't. I'm on Sprint and sure didn't get one with my 9930. Luckily I got an 8GB one with my 9670 (also from Sprint) so I just popped that one out and used it. Guess Sprint's bbs are like a box of chocolate...
