    'Reboot device' app has good ratings in Blackberry app world.

    As already said, Alt - shift - delete is the best / easiest way though.

    Agreed. Once I learned this trick around a year ago, quickpull got deleted

    I use the QuickLaunch's battery pull app though, other then that i use Alt - Rightshift - Delete.

    Quick Launch has a reboot option built it (either manual or scheduled).

    alt+rightShift+del is the way to go, but if you have other uses for QL, it's a handy feature.

    I've got a 9860 with 7.1.0.190 and I've used 2 different apps. First I tried "restart me". It was glitchy and worked half the time.

    Now I've got quickpull, which I had on my storm as well. It recently had and update and now works perfect on my torch. My brother has it on his 9380 curve touch as well.

    NO app can "pull battery"....

    Apps can Reboot your phone... and so can alt+rightShift+del (if you have keyboard)

    Sometimes you also have to take the SIM out for a min or two, to reset connection between the phone and your carrier.. can only be done by human - Not software...

    and a battery pull is not the same as reboot....

    So, what is the consensus, is alt+rightShift+del a reboot or same as a batt pull?

    alt+rightShift+del == reboot

    battery pull == battery pull

    Alt - rightshift - del is a soft pull and a batterypull is a hard pull/reboot.

    I'm under the impression that a reboot app does the soft reboot (same as Alt shift Del) oppose to a full battery pull reboot.
