while my 9900 battery has always been good, the last couple days my battery meter and battery status shows 100 percent @ 430pm. i have been up since 5 am this morning and have been using my 9900 moderatly.emails, calls, texting, surfing, etc, and still no loss of power.usually it will go down like any other phone.what gives? did we have a solar flare or some unatural phenonenom that i missed?

Could be just a one time glitch. Or possibly your battery indicator needs to be re-calibrated. If you let it run down to 15-20% before recharging it will re-calibrate. But I would only do that every so often or as needed.

I was just about to comment on the calibration. But yea charge it up fully and then let it drain completely.

likely a one time glitch with the battery indicator. my iphone will almost immediately drain from 100% down to 97% within 30 mins of being unplugged without even using it. if i reboot, it goes right back to 100%. nothing it perfect. ive just learned to reboot once i unplug it for optimal readings.

Ok .it worked.but almost every day after five or six hours I pull the battery. I take my phone off the charger at 730am' is there any way the 9900 could be burning up data, until the time i do a battery pull?My bill came in this month,I have 3 phones on2 gigs of data a month.I always come well under my data, say 1.3 or 1.4 tops..last bill it was a 68$charge for extra data.im only 10 days into my current bill and I've used up almost 1 gig. My usage is always the same ,give or take a little. So would a frozen battery indicater burn up data.thought I would ask here before I phone Rogers and look like a total tool. Haha

Sometimes your network signal is weak, so your phone keeps searching for towers this can waste alot of battery power. I ran my diagnostics on my network and noticed it is always searching for towers.

The girl @rogers asked me if I have used the gps.i haven't,but i have used google maps.she said if u didn't close it properly,it would still run in the background. Could be ? For 10$a month I added an extra gig of data to cover my just in case
