    Hi,

I have upgraded my bold 9900 to 7.0.0.579 and I noticed battery issue with it. In application management, I found that Home Screen is continuously using between 1 to 13% of CPU when no other app is running. The indexing has finished but it is still using that amount of cpu.

Is this the cause for the battery issue?

    Thanks.

Good idea, but with 7.1, do we know if its Home Screen is using CPU continuously whenever the phone is idle.

I don't believe any of that Application Properties info. I've used well over 120 minutes of talk today and 200 yesterday, yet my app properties for phone say 10 minutes usage today and 8 minutes yesterday. Appworld shows 0 yesterday and today and I've been in there at least 30 minutes.

    Phil,

If you use universal search and type in "application" a options icon appears if you click on it will take you to application management and the cpu usage will how up for that app under the home screen and not options because you have navigated there through universal search.

As you can see the home screen is using the cpu and not options. It all depends on how you navigate to that app

I thought the Bold 9900 shipped with OS6, so if you "upgraded" to 5.0.0.579, could you have a Bold 9000?
