We were also same battery use in .585 on 9860, I tried radio file of .540 inplace of .585 and did installation. it had solved battery drainage issue fully.
I've found that not only does mine drop from 100 to 92 after charging... Today at 20 percent it turned the radio off. I turned the radio back on and it shot down to 5 percent immediately. I don't think it is just an indicator problem based on how quickly the phone literally dies (9 hours of medium use).
So this morning... I take it off the charger after a full night of charging. I do a soft reset to baseline my Meterberry... when it boots up 85%!!!!!! So I restart it again for a better baselin... 80%!!! So I do yet another soft reset... back to 85%!!! WTF? I don't believe this is simply a metering problem anymore because my battery really does die at a much faster rate after this happens. Ubizmo... did your new battery solve this problem? Did the other chargers solve this problem?
I had great battery life on 440, got the 585 notice on DM and reluctantly did the upgrade hoping it would make the Nuance talk a little faster. She's still special, but the battery is unchanged and still great. IT IS NOT THE OS. You guys can believe what you want, waste hours trying different builds, etc. It isn't the build. Sure, some will get lucky and loading a a new build will make the problem go away, then they will announce the OS has a cure built in. Bull . You would have just as much chance doing a wipe and reload of an older OS. If there is one markedly obvious fact to be gleaned from reading this forum, it is that battery life and OS build are not related in any way.

So are you saying that you're running .585 and you're not experiencing the 100% - 92% battery drop?

If so... I call BS
That is correct. No battery life issues. None on 440 either. You only hear about the problems. Nobody rushes to the web to boast about their phone NOT leaking battery acid on their nipple and causing ED.
