Unplugged my 9900 running on leaked .342 at 8AM and at 9AM the next day, it is at 35% battery.

I have learned to tweak my phone a bit. I get this battery life on 2G, location services off, wifi off.

I have beweather, bebuzz, poynt, fb, true call, mobile voip, whatsapp, flashlight, shazam, google sync. I learned to mute bebuzz between 1am to 7am, i.e., it wont flash during those times that im asleep anyway, and when it flashes during other times of the day, it will stop flashing after 5 minutes.

i get and send a lot of emails, reasonable number of calls....i check on battery drain every hour using the device analyzer....

This may be BS for some, but this is what i get on my 9900 running on .342. I did not get this with .267, which for me, was the worst OS I used. I have used .205,.540, .590, and on 7.1, i have used .205, .267, .284 and now, .342.

I bought the 9900 2 weeks ago, unaware of the battery problem. At first it annoyed me a little, but then it got out of control. Final time i used the bold; 100% battery at 11am and by 1:15pm, already down to 30% - sent a few bbms, read emails, pulled phone out to check time a few times. So now I have sold my crap 9900 and went back to my trusty old 9780

Will get the 9790 when the prices drop as not looking to pay �250+ for a piece of plastic.
