(Coming back to this forum is like a trip down memory lane)

After a two year hiatus, I pulled out my BB9900, which charged and booted up still fine. Talk about reliability. I'm getting bored of my Samsung Note 2 and want to switch back to BB9900 while waiting for the Passport or Classic.

I have a problem and remembered this site is the best for responsiveness.

You see, I've tried searching for a quick and easy solution to import my 3,500 contacts from the Note to the 9900. The best suggestion seemed (past tense) to be Google Sync. What now? Is there a solution that is an app? I've tried a few, eg InTouch, it says 3,500 is over the limit. I use a Mac and the instructions seem complicated.

(Pls don't flame me, I really tried searching!)

The main users of BBs are those who like it simple, and that it just works. That's me, like all of you.

Please help.

I use my Outlook.com account to manage all my contacts. That way, when I set up that account on a smartphone or tablet, it syncs my contacts automatically. You should be able to do the same with a Gmail or Yahoo account.

Isn't the 9900 a great device?

welp, im back on my 9720 from samsung galaxy light, used the samsung for 8 weeks, i cant deal with touchscreen typing

I did a search on Google - not on this forum - and found this:
Copy/Save Contacts from Samsung Galaxy/Note to Computer

Looks like an app you'd install that transfers all your contact info from your Note to your PC, then use BDM (blackberry Desktop Manager) to populate the 9900. Sure beats doing one contact at a time manually - you might even be done before the Fourth!
