OK, at first I didn't think the BB could do it, but I definitely was able to do it on my Storm2, so I am guessing there is a way of doing it on my 9900!

I subscribe to one or two email newsletters, and I want the HTML images to automatically download in the email, so when I click the email to read, the banner etc. are all visible.

My subscription to 'The Lawyer' used to do this on my Storm2, but it doesn't seem to be happening on my 9900.

    1. The email subcription address is in my contact list.
    2. In message application > Options > Email Preferences > the 'Download Images Automatically' is checked.

I don't know why, then, the images are not being automatically downloaded...

    Any help?

Little bump... So is this not possible on the 9900?

I have those options set on some of my accounts as well but it seems to only auto-load on my playbook when I open e-mails.

Me too. Sure on my 9700 only had to get images the once and it would do it for all future mails from that address

But after initially selecting 'get images' it would show images automatically for that email address from then onwards

The "Show me the images" App from the App world does it but it's not compatible with OS7.

It never worked on my 8700, 8300, 8310, 9000, 9700, 9800 or the 9810. I always had to select show images while in the email.

How did you download it? It shows "not available for your device" in the App world.

    Thanks.

Exactly! That's what I though and what happened. I remember hitting 'get images' once on a newsletter and all subsequent emails from that address it automatically did it.
