No. However, here is an extensive review on EoDF vs. AF. Quite frankly I did not even know what this was but when you add the video and picture considerations it may actually be a plus. My kids are 90 percent of my pictures and they are always moving out of the picture so if I give up 5% sharpness on some pictures for a faster shot and way better video it makes sense to me. But take a look at this review I found it interesting.
If I turn autofocus off on my 9780, it will take the same picture as if it was on – unless it's a close-up shot, in which it will be a little hazy. I imagine the 9900 is pretty much the same.
