I want to hide all the icons on my Blackberry Bold, and still be able to access them using customizable keyboard shortcuts. I already have my Password Keeper set on convenience key.

Example: I want to be able to access MemoPad by pressing Space then M. Is there an application that would let me do that, while having my MemoPad icon hidden?

Turn dial off from the home screen...

These are all the native BB keypad shorcuts without any 3rd party app. I have Quicklaunch installed which gave me so many more shortcuts.

    A- Addressbook
    B- Browser
    C- Contact lists
    D- Memo Pad
    H- Help
    K- Lock device
    L - Calendar
    M- Mail
    N- BBM
    O- Options
    P- Phone
    Q- Change sound profile
    S- Search
    T- Task
    U- Calculator
    V- View Saved messages
    W- Weather
    X- Windows Live Messenger
    Y- Yahoo Messenger

Quicklaunch does what you want and much more.

And just a heads up, C shortcut from home screen is Compose, not contact list. Q is only a long-press shortcut that toggles between your current profile and vibrate.

C does open contacts, but once you select a contact, it begins a new message in email.

Well... it actually is compose. If you scroll through the contacts and select one, you have the option to select which ever address you have. You can select their number to text them or email address to email. So it all depends what kind of info you have under their information.

Never really paid any attention to it. I always thought it was weird that there were 2 hotkeys to open up contacts.

    Now it makes sense.

can i put shortcuts for facebook and twitter and other apps?

the idea of hiding the icons and having a single button launcher is super cool.

No. You need a third party app or set them to your convenience key. An app like SixTools can turn your media keys into covenience keys as well.

That would be the "D" key..."M" for message list, "O" for options..."A" for screen lock, "B" for browser..."N" for BBM...etc...there are a few more as well.

NO - IT'S NOT - you're just reading it wrong. That's your contact list showing up so you can choose WHO YOU WANT TO COMPOSE THE MESSAGE TO...

    "A" is contacts -
