There are some of us with the 9810 who are experiencing memory leaks (and we did not with the 9800), so there could be some issue with OS 7 and certain apps. It's not dissimilar to the old leaks on 5.0.

There is no need to wipe before doing an OS upgrade since DTS completely wipes the device at the beginning of the upgrade process.
After 12 hours of no resets, 1.8mb leaked. I have a lot of apps installed running .317 shrunk a bit soo not a problem for me. I've seen it go to about 8mb down and then back to less than 1mb by itself.

A memory leak is defined as when the device actually keeps dropping until no more memory is available. Report back when your device gets that low... otherwise, it's not really a leak.
I'm also running .353 on my 9930 and have experience memory leaks. On reboot i have about 145MB but starts to drain. After a day or two it's down to under 100MB. I usually reboot when it gets that low. Haven't tried to see how low it would get. I do have a lot of apps though so i'm not sure if one of them is doing the leaking.

I dropped from 173.7 MB to 87.9 MB over a 48-hour period this week before rebooting. Whether it would have stabilized at some point or gone all the way down, I don't know, but it is cause for some concern regardless of what you want to call it. This didn't happen on the OS 6 phones.

What was the highest max used memory app for the week other than stuff like the browser?
When I bought my phone i installed two apps immediately: LiveProfile & Blackberry Traffic. Noticed on AppWorld, my Application memory was at 76MB...I was like WTF?!? Found via Application management, approx 70-90MB was being used by 'other' not 'applications. I found, they copied the paper Blackberry manual to the phone in PDF files, in every language, which took up all of this precious application memory. After deleting ALL those PDF files, my application memory went from 76MB to 165-170MB.
To access these PDF files, delete them thru Documents to Go...unless there is a quicker way of doing it that I don't know of. The tedious part is, you have to delete them individually.
I reboot every day at 6:30 AM and I start around 189 MB on Telus and at the end of the day its around 188 MB. So, I don't think I have and issue with memory considering all the apps running on my phone.

Hope this helps.
Pretty sure that's located on the 8gb internal storage, so it doesn't really do anything....
Im at 183mb at the moment, so far today since rebooting 2 hrs ago,ive lost 4.8mb...nothing major really. I havent got alot of apps running either but tbh i think all devices whether they be apple, RIM or Android all suffer from mem leaks...geez my ip4 starts the day off at around 300+mb but by the time i put it on charge, its down to 160ish mb of memory left...its jailbroken and i have an app that shows me what my memory is currently at.
Like i said no biggie really as long as you arent losing a huge amount of memory...mines holding steady for the past hr at 4.8mb...thats with a bit of web browsing, bbm'ing, emailing and a few phone calls.
Yea I’ve been having memory leaks on my 9810 – it goes from 172 MB to 100 in 24 hours. When it gets below 100 I usually reboot - my BB gets sluggish when it drops under 100 MB. It’s all in the “other” memory.
