Hey guys,

I don't know why RIM are enjoying releasing bugs and errors in every OS.

The problem is that i love this phone and still defending BB infront of others but i'm seriously starting to think of shifting to Android as i'm really fed up from this crappy releases.

Anyways, for now, anyone's got a permanent solution to the youtube ERROR which deprives you from watching any youtube movies?!

I just able to watch a free youtube movie not a clip with no issues. What is your error?

Mine works fine too. Are you using the icon or typing youtube into the browser?

I don't get an error message with mine, although I do get very jumpy playback in both strong 3G areas and strong wifi areas.

Same problem with 4 phones and several OS versions.

I'm really surprised that it's going well with everyone.

Seems like a problem in my location - UAE.

The error is: "an error has occurred attempting to play media".

Tried various videos/clips with no luck. Same problem is present in two other phones for friends i know.

Felt like a newbie when i was reading your comments...

Your provider blocks you from streaming videos through 3g connections. Apparently they allow only through wifi

Not large. It alsways says connection error.

"A connection can not be establised with the youtube servers"

Ever try this? I know youtube is different looking now but you can maybe find your way to it.

First of all, thank you all for replying on this thread and sharing your point of view.

Ringo7213, yeah both are on the same carrier but youtube doesn't even work through WiFi! That's what is getting me crazy over here...

I remember it used to work on some previous versions - one of the very first for the 9900 before the 7.1

I don't really use youtube more often.. But at least it's good to have it when you need it!

Try to re-register Host Routing Table and Service Books, restart BB and you should be fine.
It is due to some RIM mistake of some internal app testing. I had the same problem.
