If you think the Bold Touch is too big - you might want to wait for the new Curve lineup which features a more of a 9700 form factor w/ a high-resolution screen, 5 MP camera and I'm sure it will also have OS7 pre-installed.

The 9000 was fine, and this is about 50% thinner? Noice.

This new Bold is the perfect size and I can't wait. But I guess I must. At least I have a PlayBook to keep me company in the meantime.

I prefer the size of the 9780 and slightly bigger 9650, but it's nothing like the Thunderbolt. That was just too huge for me. I'm sure I'll be able to deal with the 9000-style size.

I have had the Bold 9000 since its release, and have yet to go to any other phone. That's mainly for the keyboard and form factor. The only difference from what has been released, between the 9000 and the 9900/9930 is its thinness. If you want to know how big it is, you can try to find someone who has a 9000 and try that out. If you like that, you should be ok with the new Bold 9900/9930. Who knows, maybe you can go to one of your local at&t stores, they might have an old test one for you to see. So many requested to get this phone again, that shows that many liked it.

Other than having to buy all new accessories(bedside charger, otterbox case) and search for copies of 100 or so wallpapers then no.

I don't think the size is too big, especially compared to all those hyper large phones that's been coming out for the past year or so. Mobiles are quite pocketable as long as they have low profile, which the bold touch does.

Interesting but about the curves though. I wonder if it's worth it to wait and see what RIM comes up with in the next few months.
