    I can not add my Hotmail account and have been told this is a on going issue with 9900 any truth to that? Whenever I try to add my email it tells me check passowrd etc. My email works fine on my other phone which is a android phone and I can log in fine.

    Any suggestions....thanx

    I use a Bold 9000 with 2 Hotmail accounts. Never had an issue.

    Sorry I cannot help you out, but I can assure you that it is not a device or OS related issue.

    have u tried adding it through your carriers bis website ?????? one of my coworkers was having trouble setting it up he ended up doing it online and now works fine....

    I have successfully set up a @hotmail.com @yahoo.com @gmail.com @rogers.com as well as a personallized gmail.com variant on all of my BlackBerry's: 8110, 9000, 9700, 9800, 8520, 9360, 9860 and my current 9900. With all OS's from 4.6, 5.0, 6.0, 7.0 and 7.1

    I hope its just a simple matter and you can get it resolved sooner rather than later.

    I had my hotmail connected to my phone fine, until recently. I wiped my phone and since then it tells me I have my emails setting wrong.

    I have an aol account plus two hotmail accounts and haven't had any issues.

    Hmmmm its very weird...T-Mobile told me its been a on going issue. It will allow me to set up a instantemail account which is for tmobile but not Hotmail. I will call again cause on my 9000 it worked when i remembered.
