Curious, because my media card is about maxed out and I'm too cheap to buy another one right now. Thanks all!

If you load your internal memory up to capacity it will slow the phone down. Leave about 20% free and it will work fine. I originally used only my on board memory when I got my 9810 because I was too poor to buy a memory card.

Interesting. So when I do a complete blackberry desktop manager backup, it also backs up the media contents of the phone as well as the media card?

You can get 32gig cards for 20 bucks nowadays. Media card storage beats fixed stoage anyday. Not only does something like a (fixed storage) 64gb iphone cost more than 20$ more than the 32gb version, and you have to deal with transfers anytime you want to view the file on another device. With media cards you don't ever have to transfer anything (if your computer has a card reader) and your storage is pretty much unlimited. The one downside is the max is only 40gb (32gb max microsc card size+8gb onboard) compared to 64 on other devices.

So my recommendation is to go sale hunting for a good class 10 32gb card

Dude...wait a couple days and save your money. You'll be glad you did...I've got the 32 gig card and I'll never go back! 3500+ songs with 10.8 gigs left over is no joke.

Whoa, $30 for a 32GB SanDisk? Wow! I thought my $45 Lexar 32GB Boxing Day deal was a steal. Well, I guess it still is because it's a class 10, but I had no idea you could get a class 4 for $30 now.
