My 9930 decided to brick on Thanksgiving day. I went to the Verzion first thing Friday morning and was told my new phone would ship out that day and arrive Monday morning. The phone came right on schedule and I restored everything from my DM backup. I'm really glad things went smoothly because I was considering a move to Droid. RIM needs to resolve the "bricking" issue before they release their next line of phones.
