I'm from Spain... and here we do not know when they will release the Z10 (not even try to know about the Q10) so...

I need to be happly in love with my white 9900 for a while...

Or maybe, I could be the lucky one who receive a brand new spectacular Z10 from the CB Team!

    Cheers from Barcelona!

I wouldn't worry too much, it will probably take RIM until the end of your contract to get BB10 working properly !!!

Early adopters always suffer the most grief with hardware and software issues. If you wait a while you get something that will be good straight out of the box.

Just look how long it took to get the OS 7 Devices right, and that was with a Java based OS that RIM knew inside out.

BB10 could take a whole lot longer to get right given that RIM has no eperience of it to fall back on.

In a quandary over my 9900. I've got another year to run on my contract so I could sell my 9900, as well as a 3GS and iPhone 4 and get a Z10. However, I suspect that Z10 prices will soften a little over the next 6 to 12 months as other devices are released, so should I wait or go for the instant gratification of a new phone?

Ill be keeping mine till September, that is when im eligible for an upgrade. Im very excited for bb10 as dedicated blackberry user since 2007 its exciting to see something that will bring blackberry back to the limelight. I am sick of people asking me where I found a blackberry and saying I didn't know they were still in business. I use my blackberry by choice, I tinkered with other devices in the stores but nothing has compared to the ease of use as with my bb, weather its os5 6 7. BB is coming back with vengeance.

Originally I was ready to jump to the Z10 despite being a die hard keyboard guy, but after playing with a Z10 I'm disappointed in the omissions of a few things that made me like BlackBerry so much. Unfortunately the Q10 looks to fall short as well, but we'll see if the time between now and whenever the Q10 comes out if they've corrected things.

I got a new Z10 yesterday and love it!! However, keeping my Bold 9900 for a while...Whatsapp and a few other apps still work on it over wifi, even without being activated or having a SIM card!

Plan on keeping my 9900 for a few months, at least. Although I got in Dec '11, it still works great and has been the best phone I've ever had. I love the combo with my Playbook. When (if) TMO gets the Q10, I'll consider upgrading. For now, I'm just trying to be patient and enjoy the wonderful simplicity, efficiency and beauty of my 9900.

Well, actually was thinking first to get Z10 and later Q10, and just to leave 9900 as backup, but have changed my mind.

9900 will be still my primary device, and eventually will get Z10 as a second one on data plan (no voice SMS etc.) only.

What were the main reasons for selling your 4s? Thanks

I will hold off on 10 until it gets more of the current 7 features.

I am not excited at all at the bb10 devices. When the 9900 came out I was dying to get my hands on one. I'm halfway through my 3 year contract. After it is done, ill see what I want to do. Also the wife is pregnant so priorities are starting to change.

I'm sticking with my 9900 for a while. Last time I was an early adopter of RIM, I was stuck with a $700 paperweight (PlayBook). Now BB10 is certainly not as bad as PBOS 1.0, nor is it bad at all but I feel they still have a lot of work to do in terms of bringing a lot of the functionality we've grown to love from OS 7: syncing, bridge, etc. I'll be waiting for BB10.1; anything I'd gain from BB10 I already have on my PB and would only be losing functionality of my 9900.

The more I read about the Z10 i'm liking it less and less (not that I would ever have a full touch device) and it gives me little hope that I'm gonna like the Q10 any better.

Sounds to me as though RIM have take the heart and soul out of a BlackBerry device and produced an I Phone/Android clone.

Long live the 9900 and Java Based OS's, the last "real" BlackBerry.
Shouldn't you wait and experience the OS?

I will be getting a Q10 right when it comes out in April. Luckily I have an upgrade then. My 9900 has served me well, but I think it's time to get a phone that can last a full day (or several) like I coluld with my Torch 9800. It will also be an upgrade for all the other goodies like screen resolution and speed. Can't wait!

I bought a Z10 because I needed one to develop and test my new apps on.

I always believed I would never stop using my 9900, the best BB I ever had, I thought.

But Z10 proved me wrong in less than a day. The predictive virtual keypad on Z10 is simply the best. I just type with 2 thumbs, as fast as I can, without worrying about deleting a wrong entered character, without looking at the text above the keypad. Just typing as fast as I can.
When I am done typing in a long text in an email, I look at the text and it is all correct. I don't know how they do it, but Z10 is definitely feels superior to type on than my 9900 (or any other phone for that matter). I can't believe that I write this, but that is true.

Now, add the Hub, Peek, and Invocation Cards to the equation, and figure out why Z10 is the phone I prefer over any other phone (including my 9900).

I've got a 9930 and love it. I do wish I had a bigger screen/better browser and wish it had 4GLTE. I have an upgrade available, so am reading every post regarding the Z10. I'm either going with it when it's released in the US, or will get the next Samsung when it's released in April-ish. I would like to stay with Blackberry, but my loyalty doesn't extend far enough to make up for some things I really like and use on my 9930. I have to say, I really do love my little Bold, so I'm not getting crazy waiting to decide.
