    Hey all,

I know its been asked before, but nothing clear. As the title states, to all you 9900 owners, does your 9900 offer the possibility to have a hotspot?

    Thanks.

I can't understand why there is no auto focus on the 9900, when there is on the 9860, running the same os...?

It's a hardware issue; the camera module on the 9860/9810 is different than the one on the 9900.

OP, please search and read for the hundred other posts regarding the hotspot and camera info. There was a post on the main page about carrier dependent hotspots. Not bashing and I understand the excitement but........

Thanks Pal, sorry. I understand. I just bought my 9900 from Telus and I cannot find any Wifi Hotspot option which is kinda sad. Its not a carrier dependant because my wife has the same plan, same carrier but with the iphone and she does have wifi hotspot. Also, called Telus, and they said they do not have any options in their system to enable or disable this option. The tech told me I should reach Blackberry Support to know more about this option for this phone.

    Cheers.

Did I not already answer this?

Telus has to enable the device to be able to generate the hotspot. Your OS needs to be updated with Telus branded software. Stop spreading disinformation.
