Would the network provider have anything to do with a trackpad not working correctly? I have a Rogers Unlocked Blackberry 9900 and I'm using it on the ATT network in California. Everything works fine but the trackpad works then it doesnt, then it does. So not sure what it could be. Thanks in advance for your replies.

The carrier network should have nothing to do with that. The most likely issue is faulty hardware, but you can also try upgrading the OS and see if that helps.

Have you rebooted or battery pulled yet?

I doubt it's even software, seeing as your most likely running the latest version. A battery pull, then a replacement device would be the way to go. No need to be spending time with a broken trackpad when the store can replace it for free.
