Can I assume that all I have to do is backup my current 9630 Tour with Blackberry Desktop? Then activate new 9930? ...then "setup wizard" through email, etc.? Then synch 9930 to BB Desktop?

I've never ordered a phone online from Verizon before. I thought FedEx was NEVER going to show up today. Better late than never

I just did this yesterday.

BB 9930 arrived. Dialed *228. It automatically walked me through the provisioning. Because I was not prompted for a data plan when I ordered online I called Verizon just to be sure and they verified the BB data plan was added.

I guess selecting a data plan is no longer an option.

I did not do the cabling/sync. I connected wirelessly to my Gmail and then re-loaded the apps from the App World.

Not all apps from my old BB were available. When I logged into App World it asked if I wanted to transfer PIN.
