I plan to get a 9930 in the US and bring it to Israel and use an Israeli communications company, Orange. Will it work in Israel? It is not yet for sale in Israel and so Orange has no information about it. Will operating system 7 be an issue if this is not yet in Israel either?

OS has nothing to do with network frequency as long as the network frequency matches with your operator it will work. 9930 works on gsm 850/950/1800/1900 and cdma 800/1900 frequencies, it is also called world edition phone that means it will work mostly everywhere. The device needs to be unlocked though

The 9930 will get 3G on orange in Israel and many other countries.
