Which 'application' are you talking about? Do you have a BlackBerry data plan?

    Well, there's your problem.

You need a  data plan to use all those apps... even over wifi.

Call your carrier. You need a Blackberry data plan.

Data plan and internet package is same thing I guess and OP said he already asked Vodafone about it and they said they cannot do it for verizon mobile. Now I don't know how things work for 9930 but in UK if I have an unlocked 9900, I can get data plan with any carrier.

You can get a BlackBerry data plan that uses a SIM card if your Verizon model is unlocked. Only thing is, there may be some additional configuring necessary as all features won't work properly "right out of the box." For example, Simple Mobile would give me a BlackBerry plan for my Sprint 9650, but Simple is a GSM carrier, and the CDMA 9650 is not one of its supported models. Simple tells you right up front that additional configuring might be required to get certain features to work properly (or at all) on unsupported models and that it can't help with the tweaking. Maybe your carrier realizes this and is reluctant to help with it. You might only be able to get 2G speeds when your done, too. You could get a supported phone or try a different carrier.
