Hi. New to Crackberry and I searched the forums but didn't see anything about this, so thanks in advance for any help.

Is there any advantage to an unlocked 9930 over a stock Verizon version if I'm just planning on using it on Verizon?

I'm coming back to RIMM for my work phone after a year away from BB. I love my unlocked Galaxy Note without all the VZ bloatware for my secondary phone, but I need the rock steady experience of blackberry and don't want to wait for OS 10.

    Cheers, and thanks again.

No. Unlocking refers to the GSM/HSPA side of the device. It doesn't have anything to do with the CDMA side of the device which you will be using on Verizon.

So there's no "advantage". There's no disadvantage either.
