i have conducted a search but i was wandering has there been a fix for this issue yet?

sometimes my touchpad will go bonkers and move on its own. sometimes it can be quite annoying when typing a email or a text message and it keeps moving my cursor to different parts of the message.

anyone? should i just put a new track pad in? would that work? help.

This has been reported in several threads. Try installing a newer os.

You must be refering to the touchscreen issue that people in this forum "CLAIMED" was just MY blackberry. I got my 5th replacement to check if it was the phone. Don't bother trying to swap the OS because the OS WON'T fix the issue. Its the phone itself

This happened to me once, and I tried uploading a newer os, but it doesnt seem to do it. I ended up changing my trackpad, and everything works fine!
    Try changing your trackpad

Aslong if you have the receipt you can bring in your 9900 for warranty i guess.
Ask the person that gave you the gift for the receipt.
I wouldn't replace the trackpad yourself if you don't have any idea how to do it so.
Since the trackpad is attached with a ribbon cable on the keyboard.
And you can easily manage to screw up your trackpad or even your keyboard.
Which i did once and i ended up buying a new keyboard and replaced it and all was fine after.

Yea I definatly wouldn't take the phone apart. Because what happens if you screw it up? Now what? No reciept no options...

Super easy to replace the keyboard. I don't think I would try to fix the pad alone.

Since you are on a touch screen phone, are you able to navigate with that, the BB key or the back key?
