i know this is silly but i cannot figure out how to turn on or check mispelled word on bb7 / 9930 ....cant find in the typing and lang option or thru universal search....also tried long pressing or highlighting word and pressing menu key and no luck ...alil help plz !!!???

Not silly at all - the same thing happened to me when I upgraded the OS to .580. It all came back after I reinstalled the OS.

so just do a backup with bb desktop manager.. wipe device and reload os everything should be fine

Go to options> typing and language> spell check. What os are you running? Try a battery pull.
