I was all set to get the 9930 when it was released on Verizon, but then I learned it wasn't the same camera as the 9650 with only a higher MP count. I really liked the 9650 camera. I got compliments on how great the pics were when I emailed them to people. I mostly take far away shots of my dogs and other random things. I don't really use it for close up shots, although I have used it for such shots.
I am wondering if the camera is really a huge dissapointment for the purchasers of the 9930.
I have had an upgrade since February and now am on the fence. I sold my 9650 and am now back to my 8330. I am ready to make a move. But want to make the right one.
Happy with 90% of the pics I take with my 9930. Its fast, takes great shots with proper lighting. Even indoor works pretty well for skin tones and faces. I like it.
