9930 Bluetooth Volume Can Not Increase-Says Device Not Allowing?

I have the 9930 and use the Sync with Ford for hands free. The volume on the 9930 is at the halfway point and when I try to increase volume to max-the 9930 says volume not supported by this bluetooth device.
Somehow on my 9650 got this error, but somehow I got it to work. Any suggestions?

Typically, that message indicates that the volume has to be controlled on the other device and not on the BlackBerry.
