Hi, i have this problem, purchased a phone off a mate and realised the phone is on verizon. Its unlocked but bbm does not work..... It calls and texts but it does not at all respond to any bb pins or anything..... It does not have the bb logo next to the reception either....I am on three network contract with bb package bb 9930 can anyone help me??

Since your service provider does not carry that model (which is primarily a CDMA device), you are going to have to manually load the Service Books (either from a previous BlackBerry device that you had or from other source, if they are available).

Otherwise, you are not likely going to be able to get the data features working. You might be better served by using a device that is supported by your service provider.
