9900 upgrades are getting out, so I think Sprint might be working on testing to get it out. Since 9930 and 9900 are both same platform, 9930 update must be close now.

Do you realize that you can install 9930 OS updates from any carrier? You don't need to wait on Sprint to put their seal of approval on it.

Don't you loose certain features from Sprint if you download another carrier's OS, i.e. Sprint Telenav navigation, Sprint Cup Mobile, etc?

Your carrier's service books will be pushed to your device once the device re-registers with the network. Believe me, the carriers won't miss the opportunity to flood your device with junk (although not everything they push is junk).

Yep, sprint bloatware is not tied to the OS. You have to separately download them from the pushed links anyhow.

Plus when you install the OF to your system (computer) when you connect the BB it will ask to update the components it recognizes are available. It will not wipe the entire BB and make you start from scratch.
